Subtitle dialog won't stop popping up even though i disabled subtitles

I enabled subtitles via opensubtitles addon for a specific tv show and then i disabled it. Now no matter what i do, as soon as i start a video i get the box popping up saying "Local subtitle available" at the top and "No subtitle service installed"


How do i fix this?
